Get the Unjargoned app

Put Unjargoned on your phone’s home screen. It opens on its own, like any other app, and keeps the pages you’ve read for when you have no signal. It’s free, and there’s nothing to download from an app store.

On iPhone and iPad

  1. Open unjargoned.com in Safari.Other browsers on iPhone, such as Chrome, work the same way.
  2. Tap Share. It’s the square with an arrow pointing up. If you can’t see it, tap the three dots next to the address bar first.
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.You may need to scroll down to find it. Unjargoned is now on your Home Screen: open it from there.

On Android

  1. Open unjargoned.com in Chrome, or your usual browser. If an Install Unjargoned button shows above, tap it and you’re done.
  2. Otherwise, open the browser’s menu.In Chrome it’s the three dots at the top right.
  3. Tap Install app, or Add to Home screen.Unjargoned is now with your other apps.

On a computer

In Chrome or Edge, use the install button at the right of the address bar, or the Install Unjargoned button above if it shows. In Safari on a Mac, choose File, then Add to Dock.

Reading offline

Most pages you open on this device with a connection are kept on it, up to the last 30. With no signal, they still open, as they were when you last saw them, at your level. A page you haven’t opened here shows the list of pages you can read.

It works in the app and in your browser. Your account, Una, the certificate course’s lessons and anything else private aren’t kept, so they need a connection. On iPhone and iPad, the Home Screen app keeps its own pages, separate from Safari’s. To delete the copies, clear this site’s data in your browser’s settings. See cookies and storage.
