What it does
tl;dv records your Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls, then writes a transcript, notes and action items. You can search past meetings, ask questions about them and send notes to other apps.
It is made in Germany and stores meeting data in the EU. You can record with a visible bot, from the desktop app without one, or in person with the phone app.

How it works
- Sign up and connect your calendar.
- For each meeting, choose the bot or the desktop app’s bot-free mode.
- Tell everyone at the start that you are recording.
- After the call, read the notes and action items, or ask questions about the meeting.
- Share the notes, or send them to your CRM or other apps.
How hard is it to use?
Beginner Easy to start. You need an account, not any technical know-how.
Connect your calendar and it records the meetings you pick, so we rate it Beginner. Templates and integrations take longer to set up.
What it costs
Free plan; paid plans. A free plan with unlimited recording and transcripts, AI notes for a limited number of meetings a month and recordings kept for a limited time. Paid plans remove the AI limits and add templates and integrations; Business adds CRM tools, coaching and consent request emails.
Prices change often, so check tl;dv’s own site before you pay.
Watch out for
- Bot-free recording may not show people they are being recorded, so tell them and get their agreement.
- The free plan’s AI notes run out after a few meetings a month.
- Emails asking guests for recording consent need the Business plan or above.
Your data
tl;dv stores recordings, transcripts and meeting data in the EU and says it doesn’t use customer content to train AI models. You can set how long recordings are kept and delete them at any time.
We haven’t confirmed that tl;dv can keep your data in the UK, so check where it keeps your data before you share anything private or about other people.
