What it does
Brevo, called Sendinblue until 2023, is a marketing platform for email, text messages and WhatsApp, with a simple CRM to keep track of contacts and deals. Its AI assistant, Aura, helps write emails and subject lines.
Brevo is a French company, based in Paris. Its plans are priced mainly by how many emails you send rather than how many contacts you keep, which can suit businesses with large but quiet lists.
Why use it
- Priced by emails sent, not contacts kept.
- Email, text messages and WhatsApp in one place.
- A simple CRM for contacts and deals.
How it works
- Sign up and import contacts who agreed to hear from you.
- Design an email from a template, with AI help if you like.
- Send a test, then send or schedule your campaign.
- Check the report on opens and clicks.
How hard is it to use?
Beginner Easy to start. You need an account, not any technical know-how.
Template-based and guided, which is why we rate it Beginner.
What it costs
Free plan; paid plans. A free plan with a daily sending limit and no time limit. Paid plans (Starter, Standard, Professional and Enterprise) are priced mainly by how many emails you send each month.
Prices change often, so check Brevo’s own site before you pay.
Watch out for
- The free plan’s daily limit can slow down a big send.
- Only email people who have agreed to hear from you.
